  • Description

Eco25 and Eco40 are planting substrates made on Ibiza: Eco10 compost substrate blended with wood chips. The compost feeds the soil and holds moisture, and the chips keep the mix open and airy and help to suppress weeds.

Choose Eco25 for a finer mix, or Eco40 for a coarser one with larger chips. Use either to fill and top up planting beds, borders and larger garden areas, or to improve heavy or compacted soil.

Specifications

Eco25 combines our Eco10 compost substrate with Mulch 25 wood chips, in roughly equal parts. Eco40 is roughly half Eco10, with the other half made up of equal parts Mulch 25 and Mulch 40 wood chips, giving it larger pieces and a coarser texture. The ratios can vary slightly between batches.

The Eco10 is made from pruning residues sourced from the trees, palms and shrubs that make up Ibiza's gardens, shredded and composted on Ibiza with no additives. Each batch has a naturally varied texture, colour and scent.
