Are you passionate about nature and eager to learn the future of gardening? At Gardens of Ibiza, we create beautiful, regenerative outdoor spaces in harmony with nature, ensuring gardens thrive for generations to come. We are looking for a motivated and hands-on Field Intern to join our team and work alongside our gardeners on unique projects across the island.

Our work goes beyond conventional maintenance. We believe in soil-first gardening, biodiversity, water-wise systems and natural resilience. From food forests and permaculture-inspired gardens to hanging gardens, ecological planting and biopool environments, we help shape a greener and more regenerative Ibiza.

Main responsibilities

  • Plant and care for trees, shrubs, perennials, herbs and edible gardens
  • Maintain food forests and permaculture-style gardens
  • Improve soil through mulch, compost and topdressing
  • Check irrigation and support water-wise routines
  • Prune and care for plants in a natural, respectful way
  • Help with small construction tasks: pathways, gravel areas, simple fencing
  • Document progress with photos and short field notes

Profile we are looking for

  • A strong interest in nature, gardening and outdoor work
  • Motivation to learn ecological, regenerative and permaculture-based methods
  • Reliable, practical and positive attitude
  • Willingness to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Curiosity about the future of gardening and working in harmony with nature
