Garden Fencing in Ibiza: Installation & Repair

GARDEN FENCING

Combining Function, Durability and Beauty

A well-built garden fence creates a clear boundary, hides what you would rather not see and adds privacy by blocking the view.

At Gardens of Ibiza, we install fencing that offers privacy, security and a clean integration with the landscape. Besides new fences, we also clean and maintain existing ones, replace damaged parts, straighten leaning fences and brace sagging posts.

INSTALLATION & REPLACEMENT

Fence Installation and Replacement in Ibiza

Our team installs new fences from scratch, accurately set out and built to last. We first assess the ground and the area, then choose the right post type for your soil, so the fence works with the whole garden, not just along the boundary line.

We also remove, dispose of and replace old or damaged fencing. That means rebuilding the structure properly, correcting post depth and reinforcing posts where the ground demands it. We work with durable, high-quality materials, and with regular checks your fence will stand strong for years to come.

FENCE TYPES

Types of Fencing We Install

Natural heather (brezo)

Natural heather screens on a sturdy frame of posts and wire. A typical Ibiza choice: ecological, long-lasting and beautiful with Mediterranean planting, and very effective for privacy and wind protection.

Slatted fencing

Horizontal slats with gaps of 5 to 20 mm, depending on how much screening or light you want. Clean lines in western red cedar or Siberian larch, popular in modern gardens and around seating areas.

Hit and miss fencing

Vertical boards fixed alternately on each side of the rails. It gives privacy while still letting light and air through, a good option for exposed gardens where a solid fence would catch heavy wind.

Trellis fencing

Adds height and interest without blocking light. Available in diamond, square and lattice patterns, it is the perfect support for climbing plants such as jasmine, bougainvillea or grape vines.

Post and rail fencing

For larger gardens, fincas and rural settings where you need a boundary without closing the space in. Available with half-round or square rails in treated softwood, western red cedar or oak.

Composite fencing

The lowest-maintenance option. Composite resists rot, warping and insects without staining, sealing or painting - an occasional wash is all it needs. A long-lasting investment when minimal upkeep comes first.

REPAIR & MAINTENANCE

Fence Repair and Cleaning

Wooden fences naturally develop cracks and knotholes, and panels and boards can rot or break. Spotting and repairing this early stops the damage from getting worse. A fence that is unstable or leaning badly is a real safety risk for your family and your neighbours, and is best left to professionals with the right equipment.

Regular cleaning keeps the colour and look of your fence, and it often reveals holes, cracks or damage before they turn into a costly repair. For large fences, or when you simply don't have the time, we take care of it for you.

Signs Your Fence Needs Repair or Replacement

Leaning fence

Often caused by strong wind or soil erosion. A leaning fence is not structurally sound and can become a safety hazard.

Rot and insects

Some wear is natural over time, but once rot or insect damage spreads, it is time to call in the experts.

Stains and mildew

Harmless on their own, but left to spread they can hide deeper problems such as rot underneath.

Missing boards

Missing boards or pickets mean the fence needs new parts, or a partial replacement.

Leave the Heavy Work to Us

Fence installation and repair often need several pairs of hands. Instead of starting a project and getting stuck halfway, let our team handle every kind of garden fencing job in Ibiza.
