Meet our designers
Our team of designers brings together diverse backgrounds in art, landscape architecture, and horticulture. United by a shared passion for plants, beauty and natural balance, they create outdoor spaces that are thoughtful, timeless and deeply connected to their surroundings.
"Ultimately, a well-maintained, thoughtfully designed garden can significantly enhance a property's value and appeal in Ibiza's real estate market".

From start to design to garden
Our Process
The timeline for garden design and realization typically spans several stages, each essential to creating a cohesive and thriving garden space. Overall, the entire process from initial consultation to garden realization can take anywhere from 4 to 8 months, depending on the project’s complexity and scale.
We share you a private invitation to our Notion Project Management tool before starting the garden, where you can see from home every moment the day where we are, what our next plans are and if we are on schedule.
Below you can see a brief overview of the proces of designing a garden. If you want to read more in detail scroll down.

Elaborating
Timeline in depth
Curious how a garden comes to life? This is our timeline, in depth and with all the details that show how vision becomes reality. We guide you through each step, from first ideas to flourishing landscapes.
Phase 1 - Pre-Design
Intake & proprosal - Wishes, budgets and more
We come to visit. Meeting in person is the foundation for our first collaboration. Prior to the visit, we will send a survey to discuss wishes, budget, and expectations, and give homework to create a mood board. We will also determine whether to design the entire garden or deliver it in phases.
Site survey & inventory - Plants, infrastructure and measurements
The foundation starts here with a clear measurement of the house, the land, and an inventory of the current plants, such as herbs, aromatics, rosemary/lavender, succulents, cactus, fruit trees, and existing infrastructure, such as walls/entrance, arches/fence, parking space/pathways/roads, terraces (yoga)/pergolas, underground installations, outdoor kitchen, pool/pool terrace, kids area, yurt/tipi.
Appraisal - Understand current potentials and shortcomings
Appraising a garden involves evaluating current plants, using survey data, and inventory details. This process ensures an accurate understanding of plant health, placement, and overall landscape design. By integrating this collected information, appraisers can provide informed recommendations for enhancing garden aesthetics and functionality, maximizing its value and appeal.
Phase 2 - Design
Concept plan - Style, proportions of the house and surroundings
Optimizing the use of the garden. Identifying unused spaces or opportunities for a nice seating or dining area. We divide the garden into sections, considering proportions, such as the terrace in relation to the house, the entire house in relation to the garden, and the surroundings in relation to the garden. We consider privacy, the need for space, sunlight/shadows, and create the first hand-drawn design that we will present.
Layout plan - Translating concept to layout plan
Creating a layout plan involves detailed mapping of trees, lighting, pathways, and a pergola. Each element is carefully considered for its placement and impact on the overall design. Clear, precise visuals and descriptions are prepared to communicate the final ideas effectively. This ensures a coherent and well-integrated garden design that meets practical needs and aesthetic goals.
Planting - Choosing plants, how they relate and to the garden
Choosing plants for a garden involves considering their characteristics, climate compatibility, and how they interact. Select plants that thrive in the local climate, ensuring they are drought-resistant or shade-tolerant as needed. Consider bloom times, growth habits, and color palettes to create a harmonious design. Ensure plants complement each other in terms of height, texture, and spacing to foster a balanced and aesthetically pleasing garden.
Phase 3 - Post-Design
Budgets & costs - Moving towards building the garden
Moving towards building the garden involves detailed planning and preparing a comprehensive costing. This includes estimates for fences, pergolas, paths, groundwork, and plants. Accurate budgeting ensures all elements are affordable and feasible. Groundwork preparation is crucial for a stable foundation. Selecting quality materials for structures and choosing appropriate plants ensures durability and aesthetic appeal, paving the way for a successful garden creation.
Sourcing & construction - Project management, plant sourcing and after care
Effective project management in garden creation includes overseeing plant sourcing and ensuring aftercare. This involves coordinating timelines, managing budgets, and selecting reputable nurseries for healthy plants. Aftercare planning is essential, detailing watering, fertilizing, and pruning schedules to maintain plant health. Consistent monitoring and adjustments ensure the garden's long-term success and beauty, fulfilling the initial design vision and client expectations.
