San carlos
An 150 years old finca with a traditional garden
Nestled deep in the serene campo of San Carlos, this historic home has been gently awakened. Once framed by a garden that had fallen into quiet neglect, the landscape has now been lovingly restored, breathing new life into the soul of the finca while honouring its authentic spirit.
The story of renewal begins with the traditional stone walls, built from the stones of the surrounding fields, standing proud once again, tracing the natural curves of the land. A flourishing bougainville arch welcomes visitors with a vibrant cascade of colour, a living symbol of the finca’s revival.
Throughout the garden, local plants adapted to the Mediterranean climate have been carefully selected for their minimal water needs, weaving a tapestry of textures and scents that belong to this place. Lavender fields shimmer softly under the Ibizan sun, releasing their delicate fragrance into the warm air. Pathways of gravel — a thoughtful blend of grava and granza — lead you through a landscape where every step connects you to the earth’s quiet wisdom.
This is a place where past and present meet — where history is honoured, nature is celebrated, and every corner speaks of a renewed love for the land.
