Our Local Prunings Mix is made from a natural blend of pruning residues sourced from the trees, palms and shrubs that make up Ibiza's gardens - mainly pine, but also olive, carob, sabina, pistacia lentiscus (mastic tree), palm, cactus and other local species, depending on availability. As this mix is shredded directly from mixed garden waste, small fragments of debris may occasionally be present - for this reason it's best suited to ornamental beds, paths, and borders rather than vegetable or edible growing areas. Available in fine or coarse texture: coarse holds up longer underfoot on paths, while fine blends in more naturally around planting beds. Each batch has a naturally varied texture, colour and scent, giving beds and borders an authentic, rustic look typical of the island's landscape.
