Are you interested in garden design, planting concepts and the future of outdoor living? At Gardens of Ibiza, we create beautiful, regenerative outdoor spaces in harmony with nature, ensuring gardens thrive for generations to come. We are looking for a curious and motivated Design Intern to support our creative process from first concept through to implementation.

We seek sustainable, sintropic and permaculture-based solutions that respond to Ibiza’s climate, landscape and lifestyle. Our projects range from edible gardens and food forests to naturalistic planting, hanging gardens, biopools and long-lasting ecological landscapes. We design spaces that are both beautiful and deeply connected to nature.

Position details:

• Internship role within our design workflow
  
• Combination of showroom-based work, project preparation and site visits
  
• Involvement from concept development to implementation support
  
• Focus on regenerative and ecological garden design
  

What you will do:

• Assist with site surveys, checklists and measurements
  
• Support concept sketches, layout drafts and simple garden diagrams
  
• Help prepare planting palettes suited to Ibiza’s climate and natural conditions
  
• Research materials, plants and sourcing options from Ibiza, Mallorca and the mainland
  
• Support the preparation of client-ready project packs, drawings, samples and presentation materials
  
• Help organise and improve our showroom design space and material corner
  
• Follow projects into implementation and coordinate with the field team where needed
  

What we are looking for:

• A strong interest in garden design, planting and outdoor spaces
  
• Motivation to learn how ecological gardens are developed from vision to reality
  
• Organised, creative and detail-oriented way of working
  
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  
• Interest in permaculture, regenerative design and the future of gardening
  
• Sketching, drawing or digital layout skills are an advantage
