Every stone pathway begins with understanding how the garden is used and how people naturally move between spaces such as the terrace, pool, entrance, and seating areas. Once the design is clear, we select the right stone, finish, and layout, then prepare the ground and foundation for long-term stability. The final step is the installation on site, where each stone is carefully placed to create a pathway that feels balanced, functional, and visually refined.

Placing the Stones
Once the design and stone selection are complete, we prepare the base using the appropriate layers for support and drainage. The stones are then positioned individually on site to ensure a stable installation, a natural appearance and a pathway that sits well within the surrounding landscape.

Budget estimation for a Stone Pathway
Every stone pathway is different, so we calculate each budget based on the size of the project in m², the desired length and width, and the type of layout chosen. For stepping stone pathways, large single stones usually cover around 50% of the surface, while more combined layouts can cover between 80% and 100%. We also calculate the required base layers, transport and on-site installation to ensure a stable and natural result.
Depending on the project, clients can include additional materials such as sand, gravel, landscape fabric or different limestone finishes and thicknesses. A small waste margin is also included to allow flexibility in stone size, placement and finishing on site. This keeps the quotation clear, realistic and easy to understand.
