Soil: Rich, fertile, well-drained soil; keep evenly moist; compost improves yield

Sunlight: Full sun

Water needs:

Moderate to high; consistent moisture for sweet, crisp fruit

Wintergreen: No (annual)

Permaculture: Productive warm-season vine; flowers support pollinators; can be trained vertically for small-space growing

Plant density: Space 40–60 cm apart; 2–3 plants per m²

Plant in full sun in a warm spot and provide a trellis or support for climbing varieties (or allow to trail with space). Water consistently at the base; uneven watering can cause bitter fruit. Feed regularly once flowering starts, using a vegetable fertiliser higher in potassium. Harvest frequently while fruits are young and firm to keep plants productive. Mulch to stabilise moisture and keep fruits clean. Protect from cold; cucumbers thrive in warm nights.

• We deliver your plant(s) to where our truck can reach.

Do you have a specific spot in your garden in mind? Let us know, and we’ll do our best to deliver directly to that location. Please note: access must be suitable for our truck, especially when delivering materials like gravel or soil. If special handling is needed, an extra charge may apply.

Delivery costs:

• Standard delivery: €29,95
• Delivery to remote areas (San Antonio, San Joan, and San Josep): +€25
• If a truck is required for delivery, an additional charge of €142 per truck will apply.

We take great care to ensure that every plant we deliver is healthy, strong, and in its best condition. Up until the moment of delivery, we are fully responsible for your plant. Once it arrives, however, the responsibility shifts to you.

Please understand that plants are living organisms and require the right care to thrive. Overwatering, poor soil, or unsuitable conditions can all affect the health of your plant, and these factors are outside of our control.

We do not offer a warranty, as we cannot guarantee how a plant will be treated after delivery. Buying plants always carries a small natural risk: 2% to 10% of plants may not survive, even if everything appears fine from the outside. Unfortunately, this is part of working with nature and not something we can prevent or refund.
