Care instructions

Taking care

Grow in full sun to partial sun and keep soil evenly moist for tender leaves. Water at the base and mulch to stabilise moisture and reduce weeds. Feed lightly with compost or a gentle vegetable fertiliser for continuous leaf growth. Harvest outer leaves regularly (“cut-and-come-again”) or cut the whole plant and allow regrowth. Remove any flower stalks quickly to extend the harvest season. Swiss chard tolerates warmth better than many leafy greens but appreciates shade in peak heat.

Warranty

Warranty & Plant Health

We take great care to ensure that every plant we deliver is healthy, strong, and in its best condition. Up until the moment of delivery, we are fully responsible for your plant. Once it arrives, however, the responsibility shifts to you.

Please understand that plants are living organisms and require the right care to thrive. Overwatering, poor soil, or unsuitable conditions can all affect the health of your plant, and these factors are outside of our control.

We do not offer a warranty, as we cannot guarantee how a plant will be treated after delivery. Buying plants always carries a small natural risk: 2% to 10% of plants may not survive, even if everything appears fine from the outside. Unfortunately, this is part of working with nature and not something we can prevent or refund.

Thank you for understanding the delicate nature of plants, and for giving them the best possible care once they’re in your hands.
